Join us for a one day course entitled: Creating Home Modifications: Facilitating Safety, Function, and Options for Independence in the Home. This continuing education course offers CEUs for physical therapists, occupational therapists, home care nurses, nursing assistants, social workers, case managers, designers, independent living specialists, home care aides, and durable medical specialists. The course will be hosted by physical therapist and accessibility specialist Rob Horkheimer, MPT, CEAC, CAPS, ECHM who is a practicing physical therapist and owner of an accessible modification company (BILD – Bridgeway Independent Living Designs, LLC) which provides remodeling, lifts and elevators in both residential and commercial settings.
The course will be held in Peoria, IL on July 15, 2013, and In Joliet, IL on July 16, 2013. Registration begins at 7:30 and the course runs from 8:00AM until 3:30PM. The course offers 6 contact hours and .6 CEU credits for all the above mentioned disciplines.
