We are a nationally recognized, local company of leading educators on home accessibility solutions and modifications and safe patient handling transfer solutions.  We combine the expertise of physical and occupational therapists, along with interior design to provide beautiful solutions that meet your individual needs.  We provide solutions from small to large including grab bars, ramps, transfer lifts, lift systems, bathroom and kitchen remodeling, and accessible additions and construction.

BILD is an award-winning company that has been recognized by both local and national organizations for its exceptional expertise.  We have won multiple awards from NARI, manufacturers, disability advocacy organizations, and most importantly countless accolades from the customers that we have provided work.  We have national memberships in NARI, VGM – Live at Home, and the Better Business Bureau.

We strive to educate families and individuals regarding different accessibility solutions that are available and provide resources, solutions, and expertise that will help to form and deliver a solution that will best meet your needs.  We have built our website with education of accessibility options in mind, as well as our Solution Guides for staying in your home.

Our owner and accessibility consultant Rob Horkheimer, MPT, CEAC, CAPS, ECHM, CLIPP – has instructed professionals including occupational and physical therapists, medical equipment providers, contractors, designers, and individuals with disabilities.  He brings 20 years of experience as a physical therapist and over 7 years as a teacher and instructor in home modifications.
