Why would you use an Inclined platform Lift?
When there is a need for wheelchair users to travel between floors without having to transfer to/from a stairlift seat, an IPL is the perfect choice. The Titan uses only one rail system and a foldable platform and guard rail system so there is maximum space savings. The call/send controls on the platform and on the motor use a constant pressure rocker style switch which makes controlling the unit easy for either landing.
Does the AmeriGlide Titan meet any safety standards?
AmeriGlide Titan is certified under ASME / CSA safety standards for platform lifts and stairway chairlifts. It offers safety sensors on the bottom pan to stop the lift immediately if an obstruction interferes under the pan.

What is the size of the platform and does it fold?
The standard platform sizes are 30” x 40” and 30” x 44”. Custom platform sizes will vary depending on the size of your stairwell, and is narrower than the width of the motor and rail. The Titan IPL allows for a wider platform size than many other IPL systems. The platform will fold up against the wall.
What safety features come with the Titan IPL?
The Titan IPL has safety sensors which prevent the lift from moving when an obstruction interferes with the lift, including underneath the bottom of the platform
What happens if my lift is stuck in the middle of the stairs?
You can manually lower the device by inserting the handwheel on the motor shaft and turn to the wanted position.

The Titan IPL has a 12 Month limited warranty on parts from the date of purchase
Is there a battery backup?
The unit is battery driven so it can be used up to 10 times, depending on weight load and distance traveled.
