MWAC – November presenter – Melissa Lydecker, MPT, CLIPP, ECHM

BILD Accessibility specialist and physical therapist, Melissa Lydecker, MPT, CLIPP, ECHM – will be presenting at the November MWAC – Milwaukee Waukesha Aging Consortium meeting, on November 20th, 2019. The MWAC – Milwaukee Waukesha Aging Consortium is a networking group for professionals serving the senior communities of the Milwaukee and Waukesha areas. Melissa is a well known accessibility expert, who has over 15 years experience as a practicing physical therapist, and has practiced 6 years as an accessibility expert and safe transfer expert with BILD. Melissa also regularly provides home safety classes through the Stepping-On fall prevention program to community seniors.

Melissa will share with the MWAC networking group – an overview of accessibility solutions to provide improved safety and access for seniors and individuals with disabilities, aging-in-place and remodeling solutions for seniors, and transfer management solutions that assist caregivers and their loved ones to stay more mobile, safe and independent in all care settings. Additional guides and information will be available to share with individuals from the community at the networking group.

The MWAC – Milwaukee Waukesha Aging Consortium presentation will be on November 20th at 9:00AM (with networking starting at 8:30) and will be held at Oak Hill Terrace (in their Training Center) 1805 Kensington Drive, Waukesha, WI 53188.
