A Milwaukee, WI Stair Lift Rental for a Disabled Veteran
When a representative from Lutheran Manor in Milwaukee, was seeking options to assist John, a Milwaukee Korean War Veteran, who was transitioning to hospice care and wanted to return home, she contacted us a BILD. John and his family had very limited funds, and in order to return home he needed a straight stair lift rental in order to be able to get in and out of his home when needed. Having a straight stair lift for his home, would provide a safe transition back home, and would allow him access to be outside while at home, and allowed him the freedom to be out of the house if needed.
The family and healthcare professional contacted BILD, after driving by our Milwaukee office and Accessibility Showroom, knowing our reputation for quality product, quick service, and excellent support (with our responsive team and technical support staff on site). We were happy to assist John with his wish to safely get back into his home, by quickly installing a temporary straight stair lift which was scheduled within 2 days, and installed within a half a day for him to return to his Milwaukee home. Our installers verified items such as adjusting the seat height for safe transfers, instructing the family on use of the transfer lift, and ensuring that they had a good understanding of use of the stair lift.
