THRESHOLD RAMPS
BILD offers multiple “threshold ramp” options to meet your needs. A threshold ramp provides an inclined surface from one entrance point to another. Threshold ramps provide a nice transitional surface for wheelchairs, scooters, and/or walkers through a doorway with a raised threshold frame.
The types of Threshold Ramps are:
Rubber Threshold – made of 100% recycled rubber (primarily from used tires) these ramps are a good option for doorways, sliding glass doors and raised landings, used for any application requiring a vertical modification from 1/2″ to 4″. The installation takes only 30 minutes and requires no fasteners.
HERO Threshold – made of high-grade aluminum for durability, perfect of indoor and outdoor use. The tongue and groove design makes for a quick and seamless installation. This ramp is designed for use with doorways/thresholds from 1″ to 6″ high.
Big Lug Threshold – made of high-grade aluminum for durability that can stand up to all kinds of weather conditions. This ramp is designed to provide a full 42 inches of width in front of a doorway and has a 800 lb weight capacity. The non-skid solid surface makes the ramp slip resistant. The Big Lug is the perfect solution for small curbs, storm/screen doors or patio doors entrances. The Big Lug is available with optional handrails for added security for those who may need a little extra stability.
