Accessible Home Modifications: Occupational and Physical Therapy Continuing Education – September 29th, 2012

Don’t miss this exciting opportunity to earn CEUs and learn more about accessible home modifications.  Rob Horkheimer, MPT, CAPS, CEAC, ECHM, a regional expert on accessible home modifications, will be sharing his experience and knowledge about accessible modifications in the home.  He will be presenting a common sense evaluation approach and discussing innovative solutions and products that can help create more independent and safe environments.  Rob will also discuss a number of valuable funding resources and options that assist individuals with home modifications as well as durable medical equipment needs.   The Course will run on Saturday September 29th from 8AM until noon at the UWM Continuing Education Plankinton Building on the 7th floor at 161 W Wisconsin Avenue,  Milwaukee, WI 53203.  Note that though this course is focused as a continuing education course for physical and occupational therapists all persons are welcome including: accessibility specialists, DME specialists, designers, and individuals involved in the construction process.
